On sunday 2nd august 2015 the Theatre of Silence will celebrate the 10th anniversary!

This year Andrea Bocelli, with Coro da Camera del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Cameristi del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, will exhibit with a unique and exclusive interpretation of the Puccini’s Turandot.

The Theatre of Silence started on 27th july 2006. The structure, supported and encouraged by Andrea Bocelli, is located on the hills of Lajatico in the province of Pisa, birthplace of Bocelli. The theater has a circular stage with a suggestive sculpture of a human head at the center. During the period of inactivity the seats are dismounted completely and the stage became an artificial lake.
